Springville Journal
Colleen Mahoney

Colleen Mahoney has been the editor of the Springville Journal for three years. She covers the Springville area for the paper and can often be found at events and festivals taking pictures. Although she is a transplant, Mahoney has embraced Springville life and all it has to offer.

Her favorite thing about working for the village’s newspaper and being on the Chamber Board of Directors is meeting and connecting with new people. Mahoney feels everyone has a story to tell, and loves to be the one who tells it.

Village of Springville
Bill Krebs

William Krebs retired from a career as a high school English teacher, and has been honored by the New York State English Council as a Teacher of Excellence. He has 25 years of experience in village government.

Krebs represents the Village of Springville at Chamber meetings. “The Village strives to build a close partnership with the local business community,” he said. “Village representatives must participate in community and business development.” The Village’s $9 million budget includes a general fund, water fund, sewer fund and electric fund, representing an array of essential services for local residents and businesses.

Krebs’s favorite Chamber event is the Oktoberfest. It is traditional for the Mayor to tap the first keg. Krebs enthusiastically participates in this custom in Springville.

Chamber Director
Jennifer L.S. Weber

Jennifer L.S. Weber has been a prolific blogger/writer/freelance consultant since 1999 and has twenty years of professional experience in non-profit management, public relations, fundraising, marketing and event planning. She currently is a real estate agent and a happy homesteader at Weber Wonderland living in Springville, NY alongside her husband, two lovable brindle rescue dogs and four sweet kitty cats.
