“Yorkshire is a town in Cattaraugus County. The population was 3,913 at the 2010 census. The town is located on the northern edge and in the northeast quadrant of the county. The area that would become the town was first settled around 1810. The town of Yorkshire was formed in 1820 from the “town of Ischua” (now Franklinville). In 1827, the south part of the town was taken to form the town of Machias.” (Source: Wikipedia)
The town’s website also covers the Village of Delevan. In addition to tabs for town government, village government, forms/publications, and minutes, there is also a tab for a picture gallery. There are links on the main page for the Pioneer Central School District, the Delevan-Yorkshire Public Library, and Cattaraugus County’s Facebook page. The Yorkshire Fire Department has a Facebook page, as well.
